Overview

The Director of Talent Acquisition is responsible for the entire recruiting function and will oversee, influence, and lead strategic recruiting initiatives across the regions. He or She will be a process-driver and thought leader, leveraging efficiencies in the use of technologies, workflows, and processes while ensuring consistent application of standards throughout the organization. The Director of Talent Acquisition will also help implement an overall talent strategy focused on attracting, retaining and developing talent.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, organize, direct and evaluate the organization's recruiting function and performance.
  • Define and implement a consistent recruitment vision and strategy, creating competitive advantage through effective and efficient talent acquisition mechanisms.
  • Design and establish hiring plans that determine cost, productivity and timeliness of deliverables accounting for risk, resource, and market changes.
  • Review and establish appropriate processes, controls and checks for recruitment.
  • Analyze the performance of the department’s existing recruiting strategies and procedures, identifying areas for improvement, availing solutions, and further developing new and improved strategies.
  • Manage internal relationships, advising the senior management teams across business lines and functions on recruitment responsibilities, escalations, policies and process updates.
  • Lead team members, foster their professional development and growth, and promote teamwork and cooperation.
  • Partner with senior management to determine needs and priorities within the business units and sites.
  • Evaluate and keep current on new talent acquisition trends, philosophies and initiatives in the industry.
  • Drive employee referral schemes, hiring quality audits, budget and process compliance and other special projects.
  • Responsible and accountable for the financials of the recruiting department for the assigned region and work within an annual budget.
  • Initiate needed change to positively impact recruiting performance.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

  • Ability to support the Mission and Core Values of IBEX Global Solutions.
  • Highly developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including outstanding presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in challenging business environment with aggressive targets and timelines.
  • Must be highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple priorities and complete tasks/projects to meet specified deadlines.
  • Change oriented with strong interest to improve recruiting function capabilities.
  • Must possess a positive, solution-oriented and customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of personnel in a diverse workforce.
  • Strong technical aptitude and expertise (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Learning Management Systems).
  • Ability to build meaningful relationships, influence key stakeholders and drive a cross-function team in an aligned direction.
  • Strong expertise in all areas of sourcing such as the internet, social media, networking, employee referrals, job postings, as well as conducting open houses and virtual job fairs.
  • Experience designing, developing and supporting organization-wide talent acquisition initiatives.
  • Ability to be flexible and quickly adapt to changing business needs and processes.
  • Ability to motivate and mentor team, presenting new opportunities and challenges for additional development.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or other related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years’ senior level recruiting experience in high volume, fast-paced environment including 5 years’ experience leading a team of recruiting personnel.
  • BPO experience required.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to point, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
